The 49^th Cinema Festival of La Rochelle honoured René Clément with a gala opening of Le Jour et l’heure (Today we live) followed by a round-table discussion.

Au-delà des grilles (The Walls of Malapaga) and Monsieur Ripois (Knave of Hearts) were also shown during the festival.
